Karena menerima beasiswa, jadi sekolah ini gratis dan didanai oleh pemerintah. Coba bayangkan sudah gratis, sanggup ilmu sebagai bekal kerja pula menarik bukan. Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia memanggil putra putri terbaik bangsa untuk mendapatkan BEASISWA UNGGULAN KELAS KHUSUS PERFILMAN Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 jenjang S-1 di FAKULTAS FILM DAN TELEVISI INSTITUT KESENIAN JAKARTA.

BEASISWA UNGGULAN KELAS KHUSUS PERFILMAN Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 diperuntukkan kepada lulusan SMA/SMK/MA/Sederajat yang berprestasi di bidang perfilman, fotografi, dan penulisan kreatif.
SASARAN CALON
  1. Lulusan satuan pendidikan SMA/SMK/MA/Sederajat tahun 2015, 2016, dan 2017 yang berusia maksimal 21 tahun ketika mendaftar,
  2. Tidak sedang mendapatkan beasiswa dari dinas, lembaga, atau instansi lainnya,
  3. Memiliki karya film, atau karya foto, atau karya tulis berbentuk novel atau cerpen yang diproduksi tahun 2015 – 2017 dan karya tersebut telah meraih penghargaan di tingkat provinsi.

PERSYARATAN
  1. Berijazah SMA/SMK/MA/Sederajat.
  2. Menyerahkan fotokopi ijazah berikut daftar nilai rangkap 2 (dua) yang telah dilegalisir oleh sekolah. Bagisiswa yang ijazahnya belum keluar, sanggup menyerahkan Surat Keterangan Lulus dari sekolah asal.
  3. Fotokopi nilai rapor kelas X, XI dan XII yang telah dilegalisir,
  4. Pas foto berwarna ukuran 3 x 4 = 3 lembar, 2 x 3 = 3 lembar ,
  5. Sertifikat/penghargaan/prestasi di bidang film sebagai sutradara/produser/penulis skenario/penata kamera/penata suara/penata artistik/editor, bidang fotografi, danbidang penulisan novel atau cerpen,
  6. Copy karya di bidang film atau foto atau karya tulis,
  7. Surat Keterangan Catatan Kepolisian (Asli dan satu (1) lembar fotokopi yang telah dilegalisir),
  8. Surat Keterangan Sehat Jasmani dan Rohani dari Rumah Sakit,
  9. Surat Keterangan Bebas Buta Warna dari Rumah Sakit,
  10. Fotokopi KTP Orang Tua atau Wali sebanyak 1 (satu) lembar,
  11. Fotokopi Kartu Keluarga dan Akta Kelahiran masing – masing sebanyak 2 (dua) lembar,
  12. Menyerahkan surat pernyataan bermaterai Rp.6000,-mengenai kesediaan mendapatkan hukuman Drop Out (DO) apabila terbukti memakai Narkoba selama berkuliah di Fakultas Film dan Televisi Institut Kesenian Jakarta.
  13. Surat Keterangan Bebas Narkoba dari RSKO Jakarta dan RS Fatmawati Jakarta. Bagi calon mahasiswa di luarJabodetabek sanggup melaksanakan investigasi di BNND/BNNP/RSUD setempat.

PENDAFTARAN
Pengajuan BEASISWA UNGGULAN KELAS KHUSUS PERFILMAN Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 sanggup dilakukan oleh calon mahasiswa melalui 2 (dua) cara:
  1. Mendaftar secara online melalui website resmi FFTV IKJ di http://www.pmbfftvikj.net/pusbang.aspx?proc=biodata&type=10
  2. Mendaftar secara pribadi dengan tiba ke Fakultas Film dan Televisi Institut Kesenian Jakarta yang bertempat di Kompleks Taman Ismail Marzuki, Gedung Fakultas Film dan Televisi Institut Kesenian Jakarta, Jalan Cikini Raya No. 73, Menteng, Jakarta Pusat 10330.
Bagi calon yang mendaftar secara online melalui laman 
agar sanggup melengkapi dokumen persyaratan yang telah disebutkan di atas. Scan seluruh dokumen, kemudian unggah di laman tersebut.
Bagi calon mahasiswa yang mendaftar pribadi ke Fakultas Film dan Televisi, siapkan seluruh berkas sesuai dokumen persyaratan yang telah disebutkan di atas, kemudian serahkan kebagian Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru.
Pendaftaran BEASISWA UNGGULAN KELAS KHUSUS PERFILMAN Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 ditutup tanggal 31 MEI 2017. Calon mahasiswa yang lolos seleksi manajemen akan diumumkan di website, selanjutnya mengikuti tes tertulis dan wawancara yang akan dilaksanakan tanggal 8 JULI 2017 serentak di kota Jakarta dan tiga kota lainnya yang lokasinya akan ditentukan kemudian.
Pengumuman hasil tes dilaksanakan pada 18 JULI 2017.
