PEDOMAN  PEMILIHAN GURU SEKOLAH DASAR BERPRESTASI  TINGKAT NASIONAL TAHUN 2018  Pemilihan Guru SD (SD) Berprestasi Tingkat Nasional Tahun 2018 diselenggarakan sebagai salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan menumbuhkan keteladanan guru SD di Indonesia. Peningkatan kompetensi ini diperlukan akan berdampak faktual terhadap karier guru dan mutu pendidikan.

Pemilihan Guru SD Berprestasi Tingkat Nasional Tahun 2018 diselenggarakan sebagai salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru SD di Indonesia. Peningkatan kompetensi ini diperlukan akan berdampak faktual terhadap karier guru dan mutu pendidikan.

Pemilihan Guru SD Berprestasi Tahun 2018 dengan tema “Membangun Keteladanan Guru Pendidikan Dasar untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Abad 21“ merupakan salah satu aktivitas yang diluncurkan oleh pemerintah, dalam hal ini Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan melalui Direktorat Jenderal Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan. Program ini merupakan salah satu bentuk implementasi Undang-Undang Nomor 14 Tahun 2005 perihal Guru dan Dosen dan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 19 Tahun 2017 perihal Perubahan atas Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 74 Tahun 2008 perihal Guru.

Pedoman ini merupakan pegangan bagi semua pihak yang terlibat dalam penyelenggaraan pemilihan Guru SD Berprestasi tingkat nasional tahun 2018. Atas kolaborasi semua pihak dalam rangka pelaksanaan Pemilihan Guru SD Berprestasi Tingkat Nasional Tahun 2018,
